Singapore, 29 July 2024 – CLA Global TS is honoured to announce its conferment of the Company of Good 2024 – 3 Hearts at the conferment ceremony held at the Raffles City Convention Centre on 18 July 2024. The Company of Good – 3 Hearts acknowledges leading organisations who have established in purpose with a clear plan to scale.
An initiative by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), the Company of Good Recognition System aims to recognise the contributions of organisations in Singapore for their commitment at the national level to corporate purpose and impact on the People, Society, Governance, Environment and Economic dimensions. This year, 290 organisations were recognised as Companies of Good 2024 under the expanded recognition system. This follows the shift in NVPC’s Company of Good strategy from corporate giving to Corporate Purpose.
“We are deeply honoured to be recognised for our ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for our People, our Clients, and our Communities. Giving back has been a core value of our firm since 2008. In recent years, we have further defined our Corporate Purpose and intensified our efforts to make a meaningful impact in the areas of People, Society, Environment, and Economy.” said Mr. Henry Tan, Group CEO & Chief Innovation Officer, CLA Global TS.
Since receiving the Champion of Good recognition in 2022, CLA Global TS has made significant strides in giving back to society. These efforts range from donations through scholarships, book prizes, and study grants to environmental and community welfare activities.
Impact Area – Society
On 17 April 2023, CLA Global TS signed a Letter of Collaboration with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College Central
to launch its first scholarship and training programme for ITE students pursuing Accountancy related courses.
In April 2023, CLA Global TS launched its inaugural scholarship and mentorship program for Institute of Technical Education (ITE) students pursuing Accountancy-related courses. The scholarship program stems from the firm’s commitment to providing equal opportunities for ITE College students to achieve their career goals, just as it has done for university and polytechnic students since 2008. Since the scholarship’s launch, CLA Global TS is pleased to see other industry players reaching out to support students’ learning journeys in the finance industry.
In addition to supporting various charity events, CLA Global TS remains a dedicated participant in the Boys’ Brigade Share-A-Gift Project. This annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) event involves employees delivering hampers to beneficiaries, with the firm matching employee donations.

This commitment is reflected in accreditations such as the Human Capital Partner by the Tripartite Alliance for Fair & Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP). These accreditations recognise that the company meets the Tripartite Standards and exemplifies progressive employment practices.
Additionally, CLA Global TS is deeply committed to embracing diversity within the firm. Female leaders account for 52% of its top management team across our offices in Singapore, Malaysia, and China. Their diverse leadership styles have fostered varied problem-solving approaches, enhanced organisational collaboration, and inspired many of their colleagues to follow their lead.
“We believe that giving is a way to receive, and that every contribution, regardless of size, benefits those we support. At CLA Global TS, we will persist in our efforts to assist our communities and eventually extend the spirit of giving to our partners and regional offices beyond our local borders,” added Mr. Henry Tan.

About Company of Good
The Company of Good Recognition System aims to recognise the contributions of organisations in Singapore for their commitment at the national level to corporate purpose and impact in the People, Society, Governance, Environment and Economic dimensions. Central to this recognition system is harmonisation. Existing standards, marks and awards conferred on an organisation by the Singapore government and pertinent and global institutions will be considered. Strategically, this brings about the necessary coordination and integration of different standards, awards and marks in Singapore for organisations to be recognised for their holistic contributions at a national level.
