CLA Global TS is delighted to have hosted the recent screening of the award-winning documentary ‘Zero Waste’ and a networking event, organised by the Singapore Press Club and the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA)-Asia Chapter, with support from the Embassy of The Republic of Korea.
Attendees, including regional media professionals attending the New.Now.Next Media Conference 2024 and members of the Singapore Press Club, had the opportunity to meet and hear from the film’s director, Danny Kim, MFA.
“Zero Waste” explores how five individuals in South Korea have devised solutions to the country’s plastic waste issues, exacerbated by the global pandemic, and questions whether their efforts can compensate for decades of neglect. Both sobering and uplifting, the documentary highlights the enormity of the problem and the resilience of those striving to address it.
