Singapore, 5 August 2022 – CLA Global TS (formerly Nexia TS) supports Blockchain For Good 2022 – a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by Blockchain Association Singapore (BAS) – and participated as the only Accounting Firm at the Singapore Blockchain Week 2022.

The Blockchain For Good 2022 campaign is a joint initiative between Blockchain Association Singapore (BAS) and NTUC-U Care Fund aimed at supporting various assistance programmes, including helping low income families defray their cost of living and their children’s school expenses, as well as caring for the elderly.

“We are always happy to support a good cause as we believe in contributing to the society at large, beyond the business domain. While we have been supporting financially needy students in the accountancy profession through scholarships and book prizes, being part of Blockchain For Good 2022 extended our efforts to more low-income families through NTUC-U Care Fund.” said Mr Henry Tan, Group CEO and Chief Innovation Officer, CLA Global TS.

Mr Zainal Sapari, NTUC Assistant Director-General and Director of NTUC Care and Share Department, said,“We are grateful for the support from Nexia TS towards Blockchain For Good despite the challenging economic background. This donation will support NTUC-U Care Fund’s efforts to provide lower-income union members and their families with an additional boost to help them cope with the rising cost of living.”

Blockchain For Good Gala Dinner was held on 26 July 2022 at Raffles Hotel Singapore to recognise BAS
corporate members who have contributed to the charity campaign.

“We thank corporate members like CLA Global TS to not just support exhibiting at Singapore Blockchain Week 2022 but also donate generously to support the low-income families via the Blockchain For Good charity campaign.” Shared Mr Chia Hock Lai, Co-Chairman, Blockchain Association Singapore.

CLA Global TS Participated in Singapore Blockchain Week Conference & Exhibition held on 26 and 27 July 2022
at Sands Expo & Convention Centre.

“We are extremely honoured to be the only accounting firm participated at the Singapore Blockchain Week 2022 Conference & Exhibition. While many visitors at the exhibition were wondering what an accounting firm is doing at a blockchain event, our participation represents our support for the Blockchain industry and for our team of Financial Advisors to connect with global regulators, latest technology and the blockchain business community. This is an excellent example of how our firm always stays on top of the latest industry trends so that our Financial Advisors can assist our clients to make informed decisions with consideration of the latest development in the financial industry locally and internationally.” added Mr Henry Tan.
