Singapore, 26 October 2021 – Group CEO & Chief Innovation Officer of CLA Global TS (formerly Nexia TS), Mr Henry Tan, was conferred the Nanyang Distinguished Alumni Award 2021 at the Nanyang Alumni Awards ceremony on 23 October 2021. The highest honour bestowed upon the alumni of the Nanyang Technological University.

In recognition of the extraordinary milestones where CLA Global TS is today, the public accounting firm under his leadership has built its presence not only in Singapore but regionally in Myanmar, China and Malaysia as well. Graduated in 1988 with a first class honours degree in Accountancy, he is also the Chairman of Nanyang Business School of Dean’s Alumni Advisory Board.

Commenting on the esteemed award, Henry said: “It is gratifying and rewarding to be recognised by my alma mater, NTU, for putting the knowledge learned during my university days to actions. I am also thankful to not only making a difference in the accountancy profession but as well in the wider community by contributing to the society and especially to those who in need, particularly the financially needy students to aid them in achieving their career aspirations in accountancy. This is our way of paying forward and as well as encouraging the growth of accountancy professionals with CLA Global TS’ scholarships and book prizes. I am also enthusiastic about mentoring the younger generation through various Nanyang Business School mentorship programmes and its leadership impact sessions.”
