Singapore, 7 April 2022 – With the new hybrid modes of working and its ongoing effort in adopting digital technologies, CLA Global TS (formerly Nexia TS) implemented the use of digital name card solution by start-up – Bumpp. With effect from April 2022, CLA Global TS (formerly Nexia TS) will stop using physical paper cards once the existing cards are used up and replace it with the use of the Bumpp mobile application which enables one to create and share cards right from the phone, moving us further in our sustainability journey.
Founded in 2020, Bumpp is an interactive digital name card solution which bridges real world and digital networking. Create and share your own card or convert and store physical cards by simply snapping a picture; these are the basic features users can expect from Bumpp. To share a contact, simply ‘bumpp’ phones or scan a dedicated QR Code to access full contact details digitally. The digital card can be saved into recipient’s Bumpp account, or if they do not have the App, into their mobile or outlook contacts. Existing physical name cards can also be stored in the application so that user can merge all contacts on one platform and search through the application to find out when and where the user got them.
Unlike other name card scanner technologies, Bumpp is designed as an interactive solution which supports current hybrid modes of working where most business activities are conducted virtually. Bumpp enables users to share links to social media, messaging applications such as WhatsApp and WeChat, or even share with an audience during virtual meetings or webinars using the auto-generated virtual background embedded with the name card’s QR code. Bumpp uses NFC technology, allowing users to seamlessly ‘Paywave’ their business card to their recipient for a contactless experience.
Perfect for enterprise usage, Bumpp comes with a Content Management System (CMS) which grant access to enterprise management. Administrators can manage the employee’s digital name cards and do live updates of the company information right from the website. The card information is updated for all Bumpp recipients so that users never lose contact. Analytic tools are also available for users to find out how much recipients interact with the card and even when the card is forwarded by others.
