27 November 2025 – CLA Global TS drives climate change reporting through its active role in shaping the Climate Reporting Roadmap recently issued by Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) and the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
Representing CLA Global TS, Ms. Pamela Chen, Director, Head of Risk Advisory, Sustainability & Climate Change, and Ms. Maria Teo, Associate Director, Sustainability & Climate Change Lead and Risk Advisory, contributed to the roadmap’s development, providing comprehensive insights to support companies in meeting these reporting requirements.
With the announcement of the extended climate reporting timelines in August 2025, the Climate Reporting Roadmap, the roadmap is designed to help non-Straits Times Index (STI) issuers comply with the extended climate reporting timelines.
The roadmap also sets possible implementation plans for non-STI constituent issuers in their advancement in incorporating climate reporting and meeting the necessary requirements for the financial year commencing on or from 1 January 2028 (FYC 2028). Such implementation will be simulated through a structured half-yearly action plan from FYC 2026 to FYC 2028.
Ms. Maria Teo and Ms. Pamela Chen, who are part of the ISCA Sustainability and Climate Change Committee and Sustainability Reporting Standards Sub-Committee respectively, were acknowledged for their contribution to the roadmap. Adding on the insights that they contributed to the Roadmap, Ms. Chen and Ms. Teo previously shared beneficial news and advice in a recent article titled “SGX and ACRA’s New Sustainability Reporting Requirements: A Guide for Businesses” to guide corporations navigating the new sustainability reporting landscape.
Mr. Henry Tan, Group CEO & Chief Innovation Officer, CLA Global TS shared, “It is truly inspiring to see members of CLA Global TS’s Sustainability & Climate Change team contributing to such a pivotal document for companies locally.
