The defending champions – Singapore Women’s Floorball Team celebrating their victory at the
Women’s Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC) Cup
Singapore, 31 May 2022 – CLA Global TS congratulates the Singapore National Women’s Floorball Team for retaining their title at the recent Women’s Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC) Cup 2022 after beating Philippines 4-1 at the final on 28 May 2022.
The team showed great team resilience in defending their title and demonstrated the best performance they are capable of. Nexia TS, the Major Partner for the Singapore Women’s Floorball Team. CLA Global TS would like to also congratulate the Singapore Women’s Under 19 (U19) National Youth Floorball Squad who came in fifth after beating Indonesia 6-1 at their very first international competition. Nexia TS is the first partner supporting the rising talents of future national players, the Singapore Women’s Under 19 (U19) National Youth Floorball Squad. Formed in 2019, the Singapore U19 Youth Floorball Squad serves as a development pathway to the National setting. Due to the pandemic, the team has not been able to compete in any local or international competitions in the past two years. Training as full squad was not possible too due to the Singapore’s Safe Management Measures (SMM). Despite these challenges, the youth team fought hard and gave their 100% in competing with various national teams from the region at the recent AOFC Cup 2022.

The Singapore Women’s Floorball Team achieved an impressive track record which include winning the 1st Women’s Asia Oceania Floorball Cup in 2018; the women’s team won the Best Team of the Year at the annual Sports Awards 2018 and 2020, clinching Gold at the 30th Southeast Asian Games and achieving the nation’s best floorball record at the 2019 World Floorball Championship.
