Singapore, 18 December 2025 – This December, CLA Global TS embraced the spirit of giving by celebrating its commitment to making a positive difference beyond Singapore, through support for St Paul Methodist School (SPMS) in Timor-Leste. For the second consecutive year, CLA Global TS donated repurposed laptops to SPMS, helping to create meaningful change for both staff and students. This initiative underscores the firm’s dedication to fostering education and uplifting communities, while reinforcing its belief that lasting impact begins with shared responsibility and collaboration.
By donating these laptops, CLA Global TS is proud to provide students with improved tools for learning, while promoting sustainability by ensuring devices are repurposed rather than written off. Through these efforts, CLA Global TS continues to champion its core values of care, inclusivity, and giving back to communities in Singapore and across the region.
St Paul Methodist School (SPMS), located in Asia’s youngest country, Timor-Leste, was established by the Methodist Mission Society to provide affordable, quality education in a Christian environment. Since then, the school has created new opportunities for Timorese students to develop essential societal skills to overcome livelihood challenges, offering post-graduation career options, overseas education exposure, and educational roles for alumni to help ensure the school’s independence in the years ahead.

Recent feedback from SPMS highlights the positive impact of CLA Global TS’s laptop donations. The upgraded hardware has enabled teachers to work more efficiently and introduced new opportunities for capability-building, with Grade 3 students now participating in basic computer literacy classes. This collaboration has significantly improved teaching effectiveness and enhanced children’s digital skills.
Beyond educational benefits, these efforts help the school reduce hardware costs and redirect resources to support students facing financial constraints—making proper education, computer access, and internet connectivity more attainable for all.
“CLA Global TS has long been committed to giving back to communities in Singapore, particularly through education initiatives such as scholarships and book prizes. Our collaboration with St Paul Methodist School in Timor-Leste marks an important step in extending this commitment beyond national borders. We are delighted to contribute to creating better opportunities and improving the quality of life for students and staff at SPMS. Looking ahead, CLA Global TS aims to strengthen this connection and explore further ways to support the students at SPMS and the community in Timor-Leste,” shared, CLA Global TS Group CEO & Chief Innovation Officer, Mr. Henry Tan.
