CLA Global TS is proud to have participated as a Platinum partner at the recent Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) Cares Charity Golf 2024 event, where we connected with our business and industry partners on the green, supporting the accounting profession while giving back to the community. Alongside CLA Global TS Group CEO & Chief Innovation Officer, Mr. Henry Tan, it was a wonderful opportunity to mingle and catch up with one another.
This year’s charity golf event raised over $400,000 for ISCA Cares, an initiative that supports aspiring accountants by subsidising their tuition fees and covering basic living expenses. The beneficiaries are polytechnic and university accountancy students from financially challenged backgrounds. It is heartening to note that ISCA announced at this year’s event that the ISCA Cares Bursary will now also support ITE students studying accounting and provide living expense assistance to those pursuing the Singapore CA Qualification (SCAQ).
This aligns strategically with CLA Global TS’s inaugural scholarship and mentorship program for Institute of Technical Education (ITE) students pursuing Accountancy-related courses, launched in April 2023, which provides equal opportunities for ITE College students to achieve their career goals.
