Mr. Edwin Leow, Co-Advisory Leader, Director, Head of Tax at CLA Global TS has been selected as a board member of Singapore’s Tax Accreditation Body.
Singapore, 12 December 2023 – CLA Global TS is pleased to announce that its Co-Advisory Leader, Director, Head of Tax, Mr. Edwin Leow, has been selected as one of the newly-appointed additional Board Members of Singapore’s Tax Accreditation Body, the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP).
The SCTP is the national tax body, bringing together tax professionals from diverse backgrounds to advance the profession. The original board comprises established tax professionals in practice from the big four accounting firms, academia, and our tax authorities. The new board members will bring benefits in terms of new ideas and diversity of views and experiences to raise standards of tax practice in Singapore as SCTP continues its dedication towards the national vision of being the leading global financial and business hub in Asia.
Edwin leads the Tax Services division at CLA Global TS in delivering the full suite of tax services to our clients. He has been growing the Tax Team from strength to strength in his close to ten-year tenure with the firm. Professionally, Edwin has accumulated close to three decades of professional experience in both the international and Singapore taxation arenas. Throughout his career, Edwin has gained a wealth of experience and is equipped with extensive knowledge in providing advisory and compliance services covering all key areas of taxation: Corporate Tax, Individual Tax, Goods and Services Tax, Transfer Pricing and Stamp Duty, making him a proficient tax advisor for issues that cut across a spectrum of taxation matters.
