Singapore, 28 January 2021 – CLA Global TS (formerly Nexia TS) is delighted to share its 2021 Communication on Progress (CoP) demonstrating many ways the firm is committed to supporting the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption. The firm became a participant to the UN Global Compact since May 2018.
In our annual CoP, the firm outlines the actions undertaken over the past twelve months that continually improve our business operations for this framework. This is reflected in our policies and standards to deliver long term commercial success.
Henry Tan, Group CEO & Chief Innovation Officer, said, “The firm fully supports the global compact which the United Nations has developed to guide business activities to accelerate the ten universally accepted principles in achieving sustainable development goals. Therefore, we urge like-minded companies to be part of the greater network to achieve more ambitious targets.
About United Nations Global Compact:
At the UN Global Compact, we aim to mobilize a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders to create the world we want. That’s our vision. To make this happen, the UN Global Compact supports companies to:
1. Do business responsibly by aligning their strategies and operations with Ten Principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption; and
2. Take strategic actions to advance broader societal goals, such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with an emphasis on collaboration and innovation.
