Singapore, 8 November 2021 – CLA Global TS (formerly Nexia TS) today announced the admission of Lim Ju May as newly appointed Technical Director and Assurance Principal to lead the firm in technical accounting research, controls and financial reporting matters. Prior to the appointment, Ju May headed the technical division at Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) where she pioneered numerous initiatives in the last eight years.
Ju May brings with her a wealth of experience in the accounting and auditing profession including over twelve years with several Big 4 accounting firms managing diverse portfolios of assurance and special work assignments. She also authored ISCA’s Micro Accounting Model (MAM) and other ISCA publications such as CFOs for Sustainability Reporting Roundtable Report, Fueling Sustainable Ecosystems – Insights From The Financial Services Sector, Leases Roadmap, Technical Bites, and many others.
In her new role, Ju May is responsible for providing strategic direction to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the firm’s financial accounting is in accordance with international financial reporting standards. She is also the subject-expert for all related technical accounting matters.
