Completing my 17 years in April 2023.
2. What is your job scope?
The operations of the Outsourcing Team which includes business development all the way to simple data entries.
3. Share with us one achievement you had with CLA Global TS.
Moving our accounting clients to the cloud and go live within 3 months has been my proudest moment and of course it is a team effort that has allowed this to happen.
4. Why do you like working here and how does this place create opportunities for you.
The main factor which has made me stay in this firm is the freedom to do the work. The top-down control happens but I feel it is still within a comfortable level unlike some other companies where the bosses are asking day in and out on how much have been achieve. For us, the firm sets the KPIs before the beginning of the year and we will have our own room and space to achieve all these goals within the upcoming year.

Associate Director | Internal Audit
1. How long have you been working for the firm?
I have just gotten my 10 Years’ Service Award in 2022. To-date, I have been working for the firm for close to 11 years.
2. What is your job scope?
Working in the Risk Advisory team which focuses on Internal Audit (Internal Controls Review), Risk and Governance, from discussion with clients on annual work plan to monitoring the execution of each review, my job scope covers engaging our team members to understand and resolve their challenges during the fieldwork as well as maintaining relationship with clients/ counter-partners and discussing the business challenges encountered by our clients.
3. Share with us one achievement you had with CLA Global TS.
I have worked with different professional teams overseas for various projects that requiring local knowledge and experience, which greatly broadened my network in my career.
4. Why do you like working here and how does this place create opportunities for you.
CLA Global TS is my third employer since I started my career. To me, what matter most would be the people that we work with on day-to-day basis, the direction of the team, how changes and challenges are being handled, and all these create opportunities.

Assistant Manager | Tax
1. How long have you been working for the firm?
I have been working for the firm for 4 years.
2. What is your job scope? (Do share some insights of your day-to-day tasks at Tax team.)
My job scope involves assisting a diverse range of clients, including individuals and businesses, in understanding and complying with Singapore income tax legislation. To achieve this, I collaborate with other members of the tax team to analyze and interpret Singapore income tax legislation, provide advice, and prepare tax returns for our clients.

Build strong relationships with the clients and other stakeholders, which make me the go-to person for their tax-related concerns.
4. Why do you like working here and how does this place create opportunities for you.
Working at CLA Global TS has allowed me to collaborate with experienced professional who are always willing to share their knowledge and experience to help each other grow. Working here provides me with the opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse range of tax matters across various industries, particularly in asset management and private wealth.

1. Kindly introduce yourself and share how long have you been working for the firm?
Hi, I’m Chun Shen the Assistant Manager from Assurance department and I have been working in this firm for 4 years.
2. What is your job scope? (Do share some insights of your day-to-day tasks with Assurance)
In my current role, I’m responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and overseeing the process of audits including review the planning, execution, and finalisation of the audit assignments for small and medium size and client listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange in various industries.
I would also be involving in the budget preparation as well as quotation for new potential client. Besides that, supervision will also be given to the team members as to coach and development them into assurance professionals by sharing knowledge and encouragement.
3. Share with us one achievement you had with CLA Global TS.
Based on the opportunity given here, I have been able to develop myself into a more confident and professional individuals. Certain breakthrough has been achieved in developing my confidence level such as giving audit topic related training to my fellow colleagues.

Generally, the working environment is quite friendly where open communication is encouraged across the firm. The firm also provide clear career progression where the management understand the importance of employee development where the employees’ hardwork will be appreciated by way of promotion.
